Train 17: Kutaisi → Tbilisi

This train was canceled in 2025. Now there is no direct railway connection between Kutaisi and Tbilisi. But there are several alternatives.
The easiest way to get to Tbilisi is from the station Kutaisi International Airport. Although it is located 20 km from the city, many minibuses and the airport shuttle go in that direction.
Another option is the commuter train from the central station Kutaisi-1, which goes to Rioni, where you can immediately transfer to the train Ozurgeti → Tbilisi. This train runs every other day, detailed information is available on the train's page.
