Rioni

Rioni Station is located a few kilometers south of Kutaisi. Since it’s on the main railway line connecting Western and Eastern Georgia, most local trains, except for the Tbilisi-Batumi (Stadler) express trains, stop here, making Rioni a good alternative to the dead-end Kutaisi-1. You can get from Rioni to Kutaisi by bus #3 or taxi.

The ticket office at the station is open from 8:00 to 22:00 with breaks (9:30-11:00, 14:15-15:45), card payment is possible. There is no ticket vending machine.
